Cloudimesh Cookies Policy

Effective date: June 6, 2026
Last updated: June 6, 2026

This Cookies Policy explains how Cloudimesh ("Cloudimesh", "we", "us", or "our") uses cookies and similar technologies when you visit or use the Cloudimesh cloud and infrastructure management portal (the "Service").

This Policy should be read together with our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.

1. What are cookies and similar technologies?

Cookies are small text files placed on your computer or mobile device when you visit a website. Similar technologies include local storage, session storage, and server-side session identifiers used to maintain application state.

Cookies may be:

  • Session cookies — deleted when you close your browser or sign out; or
  • Persistent cookies — remain until they expire or you delete them.

2. Why Cloudimesh uses cookies

Cloudimesh is a secure, multi-tenant business application. We use cookies and similar technologies to:

  • keep you signed in across pages and requests;
  • protect accounts with session management and CSRF protection;
  • remember interface preferences such as theme and layout options;
  • support tenant context and navigation within the portal; and
  • maintain security, stability, and performance of the Service.

We do not use cookies to serve third-party advertising inside the Cloudimesh application.

3. Categories of cookies we use

3.1 Strictly necessary cookies

These cookies are required for the Service to function. Without them, you cannot sign in or use core features safely.

Cookie / technology Purpose Typical duration
Application session cookie (for example, {app}_session) Maintains authenticated session, tenant context, and server-side state Session (configured in your deployment)
CSRF token Prevents cross-site request forgery on form submissions and state-changing requests Session
Remember-me token (if selected at login) Keeps you signed in on trusted devices Persistent (long-lived, revocable)
Sanctum / authentication session cookies Supports secure web authentication stack used by the Service Session

Legal basis (where applicable): legitimate interests and/or necessity to perform the Service you request.

3.2 Functional cookies

These cookies remember choices that improve usability.

Cookie / technology Purpose Typical duration
Theme and appearance preferences (for example, light/dark mode via template customizer) Stores UI theme, layout, and display preferences Persistent (as configured by template customizer)
Pagination or display preferences Remembers table/page display choices where stored client-side Persistent or session

Legal basis (where applicable): legitimate interests and/or consent where required by local law.

3.3 Analytics and performance cookies (if enabled)

In default Cloudimesh deployments, first-party analytics cookies are not required for core operation. If your organization enables additional monitoring or analytics tools, those tools may set their own cookies subject to your organization's configuration and notice practices.

Legal basis (where applicable): consent, where required.

4. Cookies set by third parties

Some cookies may be set by third-party services when you choose to use them:

Provider When used Purpose
Google "Continue with Google" sign-in OAuth authentication flow managed by Google
Facebook "Continue with Facebook" sign-in OAuth authentication flow managed by Meta/Facebook

Cloudimesh does not control cookies placed by identity providers during their authentication flows. Review Google's and Meta's cookie and privacy policies for details.

If your administrator embeds external content or additional integrations, those services may set separate cookies under their own policies.

5. Other browser storage used by the Service

Cloudimesh may use local storage or session storage for non-sensitive UI state, such as:

  • template customizer settings (theme, layout direction, skin);
  • client-side form or navigation state; and
  • cached non-sensitive display preferences.

This storage is used to improve responsiveness and does not replace authentication cookies.

6. How to manage cookies

6.1 Browser controls

Most browsers allow you to:

  • view cookies stored on your device;
  • block all or third-party cookies;
  • delete cookies when you close the browser; and
  • receive alerts when cookies are set.

Consult your browser's help documentation for instructions (for example, Chrome, Firefox, Safari, or Edge).

6.2 Impact of disabling cookies

If you block or delete strictly necessary cookies, you may not be able to:

  • sign in to Cloudimesh;
  • stay signed in between pages;
  • submit forms securely; or
  • use authenticated project, approval, or admin features.

Functional cookies can usually be disabled with reduced convenience but without blocking core access.

6.3 Remember-me

If you use Remember me at login, a persistent cookie keeps your session on that device until you sign out or the token is revoked. Do not use Remember me on shared or public computers.

6.4 Sign out

Signing out ends your application session and clears session cookies tied to authentication. Persistent preference cookies may remain until you delete them in browser settings.

7. Do Not Track

Some browsers transmit "Do Not Track" (DNT) signals. Because industry standards for responding to DNT vary, Cloudimesh does not currently respond uniformly to all DNT signals. We continue to apply the cookie practices described in this Policy regardless of DNT settings unless future standards require otherwise.

8. Updates to this Cookies Policy

We may update this Cookies Policy to reflect changes in technology, law, or Service functionality. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date above.

Material changes may also be communicated through the Service or by your administrator. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance unless applicable law requires explicit consent for non-essential cookies.

9. Contact

Questions about this Cookies Policy or cookie practices in your deployment:

  1. Contact your organization's Cloudimesh administrator; or
  2. Contact Cloudimesh via the details published at cloudimesh.com.

For enterprise deployments requiring a cookie inventory or consent banner configuration, administrators may request implementation guidance from Cloudimesh support.
